When does the Carnival open?

The 8th Cupertino Carnival of St. Joseph of Cupertino will officially open at five o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, October 12, 2012. The festivities will end at four thirty in the afternoon on Sunday, October 14, 2012.

Carnival hours are:

  • Friday, October 12, 2012
    5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 13, 2012
    11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 14, 2012
    10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Where is the Carnival and how do I get there?

St. Joseph of Cupertino will host the carnival in the school parking lot and grassy field. SJC is located at the northeast corner of N. De Anza Blvd and Stevens Creek Blvd, behind Valero Gas Station. Please see our map and directions for more details.

What about parking?

Parking is free during the festivities. The three parking lots are located at:

  • St. Joseph Place, on Stevens Creek Blvd. across from Cali Plaza
  • Parking lot beside St. Joseph church
  • Intero Realty parking lot at Lazaneo Dr. and De Anza Blvd.

There will be a free shuttle running between the Intero Realty parking lot and the entrance of the carnival. Please see our map and directions for more details.

How much does it cost to get into the Carnival?

Admission is free for every day of the festivities. The Cupertino Carnival also showcases daily free concerts, shows and demonstrations (complete listings).

What is the cost of rides?

Each Wold Ammusements booklet of 25 tickets costs $25.00. Typically, three - five tickets are required for each ride.

Discounted tickets (40% of face value) are available before the start of the carnival. Please contact the school office or any school parent if you wish to purchase tickets before the festivities (complete details).

SJC Game tickets are available for $1 each. They can be used for jumphouses, game booths and other SJC booths. SJC booths typically require one to three tickets.

What else is there to do at the Carnival?

In addition to free concerts and shows, the Cupertino Carnival also arts & crafts, a rummage sale, tons of food, and much more.
