Some Assembly Required focus their musical energies on the jazz standards genre. The group consists of long time locals Jerome Pereira (saxophones), Alan Levenson (bass) and John Wetherill (piano) with the frequent addition of one of their many fine jazz drummers. They have been entertaining audiences in the South Bay across a range of jazz styles with well known tunes such as "A Night in Tunisia" and "Body and Soul"... to lesser known tunes such as "Morning" and "Cold Duck Time". With a goal of exploring creative and meaningful improvisation, Some Assembly Required will quickly catch your ear.
