On April 8, 2008 a ranger from the Santa Clara County Parks visited our Second and First Grades. He brought along his horse, Cody. The Second and First Grades learned what the ranger does and how he uses his horse to help him do his job. The ranger and his horse are responsible for crowd control, search and rescue, safety, and park education. At the end of the presentation, the students were offered a chance to pet Cody. |
