Movie Madness Spirit Day

Our Student Council sponsored a Spirit Day on Friday, February 22. The theme was Movie Madness. Students were invited to wear “cozy free dress.” Many wore sweatpants, sweatsuits, or pajama bottoms with a tee-shirt or sweatshirt.

The students were treated to a fun short rally led by the Cheerleaders and Spirit Commissioners Then a Movie Matinee followed at 1:30 p.m. The younger grades watched a "Finding Nemo" in the Parish Hall. Several other movies were shown in various rooms or “theaters.” The other choices were:

• Snow Buddies
• Mr. Bean’s Holiday
• Game Plan
• Night at the Museum
• Kicking and Screaming

The Student Council provided popcorn during the matinees. What could be better - watching a movie on a winter afternoon in your cozy clothes with good friends and a bag of popcorn!?!
