SJC Perfomance Choir Participates in Dicoesean Choral Festival

The Performance Choir sang absolutely beautifully at the Diocesan Choral Festival in Friday, April 11. We were all so proud of the choir members and our student pianist in the Fifth Grade. And, of course, we are so grateful to Mrs. Belloni.

This Festival is a celebration of music, not a competition. But I must tell you how thrilled we were when Mrs. Belloni shared the adjudicator’s (i.e., the judge's) rating form for our group. In her comments, the adjudicator stated that SJC was the best group of the morning (from among 13 groups). This choir will be performing for us at future events so hopefully all of you will soon hear just how excellent they are.

By the way, Mrs. Belloni started with about 25 students in this choir, but then opened it up because so many students were interested. She now has twice that number, so 50 students from Grades 4-8 are participating in this wonderful fine arts opportunity.
