SJC Artists Win Accolades at State Art Contest

Earlier this year, St. Joseph of Cupertino school art students were awarded 1st and 2nd place in the 2007 Memorial Art Contest sponsored by the Cupertino Federated Women’s Club. The colored pencil drawing of “Apple Line Up” by a seventh grader and the chalk pastel drawing of “Red Fox” by a third grader went on to the district level competition and won 1st place in the Bay Area district. Their art work pictured went on to the California state level competition in late May.

At the state competition "Apple Line Up" won second place and "Red Fox" won first place. Congratulations to our SJC artists.
