St. Joseph Singers Represent School at the Diocesan Choral Music Festival

Our St. Joseph Singers represented us at the Diocesan Choral Music Festival at Sacred Heart Church in Saratoga. Mrs. Rose Smith has been practicing with these talented students. She and Mr. Jeff Jio designed a great tee-shirt for them to wear, combining musical notes and jaguar paw prints. So our St. Joseph Singers looked and sounded great, and they performed exceptionally well. We were so proud of them in every way (even as audience members). They were given a performance review by an “adjudicator” and received the highest score in 11 of the 12 areas (and second highest in the twelfth area). The singers then provided two important outreach service projects - they sang for the Cupertino Senior Center on Thursday and for the retired sisters in Sr. Dorothy’s community center on Friday after school. They carried the SJC spirit forward in such a positive way. Many thanks and congratulations to Mrs. Smith and the St. Joseph Singers.
