8th Graders Become Pricipal and Vice-Principal for a Day

PRINCIPAL and VICE PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY was lots and lots of fun. This was an Auction Prize, and the 2006 winners were both Eighth Graders. They visited classes, explained that they were looking for children who acted out our SPARCCLS, asked the children what they were learning, served on yard duty, gave out “Angel Cards” to students who were being thoughtful, kind-hearted, and helpful, made P.A. announcements, and presented honors awards. In between they attended a “business lunch” with their colleagues, Mrs. Jio, Mr. Lee, and Ms. Lyons. They led the school with great spirit and enthusiasm, and we all enjoyed their leadership style.
