Mission:
Halloween Carnival
Although Mission: Halloween Carnival may sound like an "impossible" task, the Seventh grade successfully planned and operated a Carnival for the school community on Halloween. After our Halloween Carnival, the seventh grade staffed many different booths in an effort to raise money for children living in mission countries. The seventh grade was able to earn over $1000 for mission countries. Prior to the start of the carnival there was a Halloween Parade. The 8th grade and their Kindergarten buddies lead the parade. They were quickly followed by 7th grade and their 1st grade buddies. The 6th grade then joined their 2nd grade buddies as they "showed off" their costumes along the circle. 3rd, 4th and 5th grades completed their lap around for the crowd. There was also a drawing for the Student Council Halloween Raffle Basket. Congratulations to the Fondario family for winning the raffle prize. After the costume parade, the Carnival began, with the 7th graders taking the responsibility for organizing and running the activities. The carnival included some new games such as the knock-down Frankenstein and Friends game and the Golfer's Putting Green. The carnival also included some favorites such as the fishing game, fortune teller, sponge toss, and pumpkin walk. The carnival also had some yummy snacks and refreshing beverages. There were even booths where you could get your face painted or where you could have your picture taken. The seventh grade would like to thank all who attended. In addition, they would like to thank all of the room moms for their help. Finally, they would ask that you continue to pray for those who we are helping with our donation. |
